Penny Black Cards - Alcohol Markers

Three cards that we will be making at Cool Scrapbooking on Saturday April 21.  Call the store now for  registration.  Classes will fill quickly!  All three images are by Penny Black (no relation), We will be playing with several techniques including transparent balloons, shading, highlighting,  a bit of texture, and so much more.. I can't wait to see you there! 

Bring your alcohol markers to class.  If you don't have the right colors I will help you select the correct colors.  I will list the colors used here on this posting later today.

Ballerina:  Pinks are done with R81, R83, R85 put your darkest color inside the deep folds of the ruffles and use you lighter colors or no color at the top of each ruffle to give it shape.  
Yellows: Y32, Y35, Bunnies: W1, W2, ear R21, greens: YG11, YG13, YG17, skin: E00, E11, sky colored with the chisel end of B000, Hair: E09, E07, E11, ground E33, E30

Penny Black Bear:  Bear E30, E33, E35, E37, Shirt: W1, W2, B00, B000, B02, butterfly YG68, Grass YG03, YG63, Balloons: B000, B01, Y11, Y15, YG11, YG15.  Tip color the lightest color balloon in the front.  the blue balloon was colored with B00 and B02 for the main portion of the balloon, the part inside the yellow balloon was colored with B000 right on top of the yellow.  It looks like is is showing through.  Love this technique.

Highligh on top of blue box is done with a blender pen - just touch the edge of the blue and it will soften the edges.
